First Half of Team on Their Way!!

Just a heads up to start praying for our team if you have not already!  As of today seven members of our team have started heading on flights toward Johannesburg!  On their way are Kevin and Anne Vogt, John and Kristi Rickenbach, plus Ryan Coffey, Chris Yanke, and Matt Westburg .  Pray for a restful safe trip.  Who knows what opportunities they may have to share with those around them on the flight about why they are going to South Africa.  Talk about a captive audience!

Once they arrive they will be preparing to serve with us once we are all there, plus some of them will take the opportunity to hunt African Plains Game at their own expense prior to our ministry time together.  Several of us from the second group, travelling out on Saturday, will take time to hunt on the last days of our trip.  This is a special chance for many of us to do some hunting that we may never have the opportunity to do again.  It is great to know that the profits from our hunting fees (paid by us individually) will be used to fund multiple ministries run through Reaching a Generation.  Shikwaru Lodge, where we are staying, partners closely with Reaching a Generation to fund their ministries like Centreshot South Africa!

Over these next days I am sure that Kevin and John will be working with Jacques to have everything in place and ready to go.  I'm not sure of all the details but getting all the equipment shipped to the schools and the work to set up safe archery ranges is no small task.  Pray that all those detail will fall into place, if they haven't already.  I know we have already had our time in the schools moved up a day to accommodate them.  It is great that part of the team will already be there to prep for that day.  God knows what He is doing even when we plan ahead a different way!  With us arriving just before our first day in the schools we will work as their assistants on that day as they lead!  Keep us in your prayers, that we will come together as an united team quickly as we get right into ministry without any team building as initially planned.  Pray also that we would all be flexible and able to adapt to whatever changes may come our way based on schedule, culture or whatever we encounter!
